Corn dog
A corn dog is a sausage (usually a wiener) on a stick that has been coated in a thick layer of cornmeal batter and deep fried. It originated in the United States and is commonly found in American cuisine. While the name "corn dog" is used in the United States and Canada, there are regional variations of the food's name.[citation needed] In Québec, Canada, there is a popular local brand produced by Conagra called "Pogo".
