Räim
Räim is a type of Baltic herring, specifically known as Clupea harengus membras, and is considered the national fish of Estonia. It is smaller and less fatty than the Atlantic herring, typically growing up to 18 cm long, and is commonly prepared in various ways such as smoked, pickled, or fried.
