                    Refreshingly tart Brazilian limeade made with fresh limes, lime zest and condensed milk that's perfect for a hot day
                 
                Ingredients
4 limes1   cup granulated sugar
7   ounces sweetened condensed milk
5   cups water
5   ice cubes per glass, or as needed

Zest limes using a vegetable peeler, zester or cheese grater. Take care to minimize the pith, the bitter white layer under the zest.

Cut limes in half and juice

Add zest, lime juice, condensed milk, sugar and water to a blender, then blend thoroughly

Strain through a fine mesh strainer into a bowl in order to remove any remaining bits of zest
Note: The limeade will become slightly bitter over time if the zest remains in the liquid
