Double Chocolate and Toffee Pretzel Bark - The World's Food

Pretzels topped with toffee, white and dark chocolate. Sweet, salty, crunchy, chocolatey!

Ingredients

1   cup butter
1   cup brown sugar
4   cups mini pretzels
24   oz white chocolate chips
24   oz semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 F

Step 2
Line a cookie sheet with foil and cover with a single layer of pretzels. Spray with a thin layer of cooking spray, if desired

Step 3

Add butter and brown sugar to a small pan and bring to a gentle boil over medium-low heat, stirring as needed to dissolve brown sugar in melted butter

Step 4

Simmer this mixture for 2-5 minutes until it has thickened slightly, stirring the entire time

Step 5

When toffee mixture has reached the desired thickness, pour it over the pretzels 

Step 6

Bake in the 400 F oven 7 minutes

Step 7

Remove cookie sheet from oven and spread white chocolate chips evenly over the top

Step 8

Return cookie sheet to 400 F oven and bake 2 minutes

Step 9

Remove cookie sheet from oven and spread chocolate evenly using a spatula

Step 10

Spread semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips evenly over the top

Step 11

Return cookie sheet to 400 F oven and bake 2 minutes

Step 12

Remove cookie sheet from oven and spread chocolate evenly using a spatula

Step 13

Sprinkle salt or decorative sugar over the chocolate according to taste

Step 14

Refrigerate 1-2 hours, then break into large pieces using your fingers
