Ingredients

3   small garlic cloves, minced
1 1/2   teaspoons anchovy paste
2   tablespoons lemon juice, freshly squeezed
1   teaspoon Dijon mustard
1   teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1   cup mayonnaise
1/2   cup Parmigiano-Reggiano, freshly grated
1/4   teaspoon salt
1/4   teaspoon black pepper

Preparation

Step 1
In a medium bowl, whisk together the garlic, anchovy paste, lemon juice, Dijon mustard and Worcestershire sauce

Step 2
Add the mayonnaise, Parmigiano-Reggiano, salt and pepper and whisk until well combined

Step 3
Cover and store in refrigerator 3 hours to overnight so flavors combine.  Allow the dressing to sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before use so it's easier to mix with lettuce

Step 4
Pour dressing over shredded Romaine lettuce and gently mix to coat, then top with grated Parmigiano-Reggiano and croutons
