Caesar Salad - The World's Food

Time: 15 minutes preparation + overnight in fridge
You’ll crave this delicious homemade Caesar salad dressing. A family favorite!

Ingredients
3 garlic cloves, minced1½ teaspoons anchovy paste
2 tablespoons lemon juice, freshly squeezed
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 cup mayonnaise
½ cup Parmigiano-Reggiano, freshly grated
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
1-2 heads Romaine lettuce
½ cup croutons
Preparation
Step 1
In a medium bowl, whisk together the garlic, anchovy paste, lemon juice, Dijon mustard and Worcestershire sauce
Step 2
Add the mayonnaise, Parmigiano-Reggiano, salt and pepper and whisk until well combined
Step 3
For best results, cover and store in a refrigerator overnight so the flavors combine
Step 4
30 minutes before serving, allow the dressing to sit at room temperature so it gets a creamier consistency
Step 5
Pour just enough dressing over torn Romaine lettuce and gently mix to coat, add grated Parmigiano-Reggiano and croutons
