Tokaj (hungarian pronunciation: [ˈtokɒj] (listen)) is a historical town in borsod-abaúj-zemplén county, northern hungary, 54 kilometers from county capital miskolc. it is the centre of the tokaj-hegyalja wine district where tokaji wine is produced.
